A FEW TREATS

So it was my birthday last week and I just asked for money because i want to start having snowboarding lessons! Ive always wanted to learn but I've just never for round to it but i am determined  to give it a go at least! 

Anyway i bought myself a couple of things when i went for lunch last week, the Zara perfume isn't the one i wanted but they didn't have the fruity one out so that's next on my list! I'm quite lucky in the sense that i don't particularly like the designer fragrances out at the moment and I've always liked the cheaper 'celebrity' fragrances like Britney Spears (don't judge! the purple bottled one smells SO good). For £9.99 you get a pretty good sized bottle of perfume and Zara do have quite a few to choose from. Unfortunately they can't be bought online.

I also walk through Debenhams to get picked up so i naturally circled the beauty hall on my way. Ive wanted to try macs mineral skin finish for ages and i had gone really with the intention of a new lipstick but i just decided to get this instead, it was quite expensive for a face powder £20.50! But it was my birthday and i wanted to treat myself! 

If you have a Zara near you with the 'fruity' fragrance let me know!!!! I'm DESPERATE to get my hands on it!

IVE BEEN REALLY NAUGHTY

Chatterbox, amplified finish mac cosmetics

Trust me and only me to walk out of mac buying the wrong lipstick. I spent 20 minutes trying on bright pink lipsticks umming and arring between two different finishes. By the time id asked 3 different employees i finally decided which one and must have told her the wrong name because i ended up with this. Don't get me wrong its a nice colour but it wasn't the bright fuchsia pink i was expecting. Im going to keep it of course because its much more wearable than my viva glam nicki and i don't see any harm in building up a nice collection. Whats best of all is that debenhams has 10% off all beauty and fragrance so this only cost £12.15!

I also got to try the new Dior addict extreme, my eyes went straight towards the colour lucky (536) and the lady on the counter told me it was the colour kate moss was wearing in the adverts. Great minds think alike right? Anyway the lipstick has a lovely finish, almost like a glossy stain and the colour is so bright. Unfortunately i'll probably never own it but a girl can dream right?

VIVA GLAM NICKI

This is actually my first ever mac purchase. I've heard about the Viva Glam Gaga lipsticks which were released last year and whilst in New York i popped into the times square store. The shop its self is amazing and puts every Debenhams concession in the UK to shame! The staff were really helpful and chatty and even 2 male members of staff argued over who was actually Nicki Minaj, very interesting experience! You were encouraged to try products yourself rather than making them apply it for you. I purchased the Viva Glam Nicki lipstick because i loved the colour and all the money raised from selling the products goes straight to charity, they even rang a bell at the till to inform the store someone had bought a Viva Glam product. Win win situation really, they also have a lip conditioner this year which is endorsed by Ricky Martin which i also really wanted to try but didn't get round to.
The Lipstick is a satin finish which looks nice on and doesn't dry out too much, this lipstick is incredibly long lasting and has made a very good impression on me. I don't usually wear lipstick because i have quite small, dry lips and they usually just crack and fade away but this lipstick has made me want more and more of them! Next I'm after a more subtle pink or coral to start a collection.
